Camp #1 (Acting): Students entering first, second and third grades will learn acting skills, music, and choreography and will build a play in a week. This is a basic introduction to the process of stage acting. This class is designed to help the younger actor with confidence and preparation for future FYTC Success. Camp: Monday-Friday 1-3PM, August 1-5 with a performance on Saturday Afternoon at 2:30 PM August 6th. Camp Fee $35. per student
Camp #2 (Tech): Students entering fourth through eighth grade will learn theatre production techniques, including lighting, sound, set, props, costumes, promotion, writing, make-up and Farris Theatre Appreciation. Students will have the option to do tech for the performances on Saturday, afternoon at 2:30 PM August 6th and 13th. This class is designed to help the older tech student prepare for future success with the FYTC tech experience. Camp: Monday-Friday 4-6PM, August 1-5 with tech work for performance on Saturday Afternoon at 2:30 PM August 6th. Camp Fee $40. per student*
Camp #3 (Acting): Students entering fourth through eighth grade will learn acting skills, music, choreography and will build a play in a week. Students will delve deep into the process of acting, through a variety of laboratory experiences, beginning with basic performance skills and culminating in the performance experience. Emphasis is placed on projection, vocal and movement training, improvisation, scene work and future auditioning success. This class is designed to help the older student prepare for future success with the FYTC experience Camp: Monday-Friday 1-4PM, August 8-12 with a performance on Saturday Afternoon at 2:30 PM August 13th. Camp Fee $40. per student*
